Offensive Player of the Week
Cassidy Nichols, Mount St. Mary's

Cassidy Nichols scored both game winners for the Mountaineers during a 2-0 week. Nichols scored the game-winning tally in a 2-1 victory against Shepherd on Wednesday and followed that up with the game-winning goal in a 4-2 win over Delaware State on Saturday. She also contributed an assist during the win over Delaware St., logging a five point week. Nichols is the team leader at the Mount and third in the MAAC for goals scored this season.
Defensive Player of the Week
Cate Burns, Siena
So., Spencerport, NY, Spencerport
Cate Burns posted a pair of clean sheets in both Siena outings last week. The sophomore keeper totaled 10 saves over a scoreless 180 minutes in goal, while registering her second and third shutouts of the young season, respectively. On Thursday, Burns made three saves in a scoreless draw vs. Le Moyne. She wrapped the week with a seven-save shutout performance in a 0-0 tie on the road at America East Conference Preseason co-favorite New Hampshire.
Rookie of the Week
Kelly O'Connor, Fairfield
Fr., Franklin, MA, Franklin
Kelly O'Connor contributed three points in a 2-0 week for the Fairfield Stags. All three of her points came by way of assists during Fairfield's 5-0 thumping over FDU on Sunday. O'Connor dished out three helpers in 41 minutes of action, assisting on Stags’ goals in the 37
th minute, 70
th minute, and 79
th minute.
The 2025 MAAC Women’s Soccer Championship is a six-team, single-elimination championship taking place November 2-9, 2025. Each match during the championship will be hosted by the higher seed and all rounds of the championship will reseed. The first round will take place on Sunday, November 2, followed by the semifinals on Thursday, November 6, and concluding with the championship final on Sunday, November 9.
