Jersey Mike’s MAAC Men’s and Women’s Indoor Track & Field Weekly Award Winners Announced

Men’s Track Performer of the Week
Duncan Robinson, Iona
Gr., Glasgow, ScotlandMearns Castle
 
Junior Duncan Robinson won the mile run invitational at the Dr. Sander Scorcher with a time of 3:58.24, becoming the ninth runner in Iona history to break four minutes indoors. His performance ranks as the fourth-fastest indoor mile in program history and stands as the fastest mile time in the MAAC this season. Robinson improved his personal best by more than four seconds from last year’s MAAC Championships and led a group of Gaels who recorded the four fastest mile times in the conference during the meet.
 
Men’s Field Performer of the Week
Grant Eastin, Merrimack
Sr., Beverly, MA, Beverly
 
Grant Eastin won the men's Weight Throw Competition at the MIT Gordon Kelly Invitational with a throw of 17.10m. The throw was a PR moving him to third all-time in Merrimack’s record book.
 
Men’s Rookie of the Week
Jaxyn Mahoney, Canisius
Fr., Corning, NY, Corning-Painted Post High School
 
Freshman Jaxyn Mahoney took home two top-three finishes as the Griffs competed at the SPIRE Institute Midwest Open. In the men's 800m run. Mahoney claimed a second-place finish, crossing the line in 1:56.00. Mahoney also competed in the 4x400 relay with his fellow Griffs, playing a key part in the group's third-place finish with a time of 3:33.07.
 
Women’s Track Performer of the Week
Nyasia Dailey, Quinnipiac
Sr., Middletown, CT, Middletown
 
Nyasia Dailey ran a sub-7.50 in the 60m for the second time in as many meets. She clocked in at 7.49 in the race at the Dr. Sander Scorcher. She's the only woman in the MAAC to run that time this season and sits atop the league in the category.
 
Women’s Field Performer of the Week
Lauren Fadairo, Quinnipiac
So., Mount Holly, NJ, Rancocas Valley Regional High School
 
Lauren Fadairo broke the school record and jumped to the top of the MAAC in the Triple Jump at the Dr. Sander Scorcher on Friday night. She jumped to the marking of 12.07m, which is a Quinnipiac record.
 
Women’s Rookie of the Week
Bella Hayes, Merrimack
Fr., Arlington, MA, Arlington
 
Bella Hayes won the women's shot put with a throw of 12.68m (41' 7.25"), at the MIT Gordon Kelly Meet. The toss was a PR for Hayes that moved her to 2nd on the Merrimack record board.
 
The 2026 MAAC Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field Championships will be held on Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 21-22, 2026, at the Nike Track and Field Center at The Armory in New York, New York. The two-day meet will be hosted by Manhattan University and will be held at The Armory for the 22nd consecutive year dating back to 2004.
