Calum Jessett, Fairfield, Men’s Tennis

Calum Jessett went 2-0 to start the spring season, earning wins in singles and doubles on Saturday at Boston University. he teamed with Alex Aguiar to win at #2 doubles and headed the #3 flight in singles, where he picked up a straight-set triumph. Jessett and Aguiar also manned the #2 doubles spot on Friday at Dartmouth, but their match went unfinished at 5-4 when the doubles point was clinched by Big Green.
Jessett is a Dean's List student as an Economics major in the Charles F. Dolan School of Business.
Female Student-Athlete of the Week
Mea Amedio, Siena, Women’s Swimming & Diving
Jr. / Colonie, NY, The Albany Academics
Amedio finished the fall 2025 semester as a member of the 4.0 GPA club and currently has a 3.98 cumulative GPA as a business major with a pre-law track at Siena. The All-MAAC Academic Team selection and two-time All-MAAC Honor Roll selection was also a College Sports Communicators Academic All-District selection last school year and an Eastern Athletic Communications Association (EAST-COMM) Academic Honor Roll selection. Amedio has starred in the pool as well, finishing with the Siena Swim Center's pool record in the 100-yard individual medley on January 17 against Stonehill with a winning time of 59.96, nearly one full second faster than the previous fastest time. During the last meet at Vermont on January 24, Amedio finished second in the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:13.63.
