MAAC Women’s Lacrosse Championship Finale to Air on ESPNU for Second Consecutive Year

EDISON, NJ (Feb. 4, 2026) – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) today announced its 2026 Women’s Lacrosse Championship final will air live nationally on ESPNU. The women's lacrosse championship game will take place on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at the home site of the number one seed in the field. First draw in the championship game will be at 11:00 a.m.
 
The 2026 Women’s Lacrosse Championship will mark the second straight season the championship finale will be played on ESPNU. Last season was the inaugural ESPNU championship game for MAAC women’s lacrosse, which featured conference powerhouse Fairfield who has played in and won the most MAAC championships all-time, going up against Iona who was making its MAAC championship final debut. Ultimately, the Stags topped the Gaels 12-7 on the ESPNU broadcast, capturing the program’s ninth overall championship.
 
The 2026 MAAC Women's Lacrosse Championship is a six-team, single-elimination championship taking place April 26 - May 3, 2026. The first round will be hosted by the #3 and #4 seeds, and the semifinals and championship will be hosted by the top overall seed.
