MAAC Announces 2026 Women’s Golf All-Academic Team

LAKE BUENA VISTA, FL (Apr. 20, 2026) – A total of 39 student-athletes were named to the 2026 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Women’s Golf All-Academic Team, announced by the league office today.
 
To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.
 
Quinnipiac University led all institutions with a league-high eight All-Academic Team members. UAlbany was next with six selections, while Fairfield University, Merrimack College, and Sacred Heart University placed five honorees each on the team. Mount St. Mary’s University (4), Iona University (3), Niagara University (2), and Siena University (1) rounded out the All-Academic Team list.

2026 will mark the first time in league history the men’s and women’s championships are held separately.
 
The 2026 MAAC Women's Golf Championship takes place April 21-23, 2026 and returns to Disney's Golf Course in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, for the 15th consecutive season dating back to 2011 and the 24th time overall since 2000.
